We joyfully inform you that Wednesday, 10th June 2026, is the 80th birthday of our most beloved Acharya, Shri Nambiarji.
On this day, his affectionate disciples and close friends will gather at the Sree Ramakrishna Sevashram, Kaloor. The day also coincides with Uthrittathi in the Malayalam month of Idavam.
Originally from Payyannur, he was once a first-rate trader doing business in Ernakulam. Today, he stands before us as our revered Shri Nambiarji — a man rich in love, respected by all, and leading a life of utter innocence and selflessness. With remarkable scholarship in various spiritual subjects, he has the rare gift of explaining profound truths in a way that even the common man can grasp.
Only a few of us know this about him: the legitimate profit he earned from his business, he offered back to society with the same spirit of devotion as one who takes water from Mother Ganga and, with prayer and surrender, offers it back to Ganga herself.
Even though he wound up his business twenty years ago, this process continues today, and on an even wider scale. After traveling long distances for lectures, when Guru-nathan is offered dakshina, his usual practice is to touch it as a mark of acceptance and then return it right there.
Until his body permitted him to drive, he would travel countless kilometers to reach eager students and leave them fulfilled. Shri Nambiarji’s exemplary life is sustained by the direct grace and energy of Bhagavan.
Traveling across Kerala, he seeks out ashrams and sanyasis who struggle for daily needs and serves them, feeling it is a duty entrusted to him by Bhagavan himself. Many sanyasis speak of Nambiarji with deep respect and gratitude.
A part of his home in Ernakulam city has long been a resting place for sanyasis and dharmacharyas.
He still cherishes, with pride and reverence, his bond of total surrender to Pujaneeya Swami Chinmayanandaji. He has served as an early Secretary and President of the Chinmaya Mission. He was also one of the key initiators who transformed the birth home of Adi Shankara at Veliyanad, Piravom, into what we see today as the Chinmaya International Foundation.
For more than 30 years, this tapas in the spiritual field continues uninterrupted, paying no heed to physical ailments.
In an age when the springs of goodness are drying up, a great soul like Nambiarji lives among us — ever with an innocent smile, radiating the energy of virtue. We can only see him as a wondrous phenomenon. Let us pray for Bhagavan’s grace for his long life and joyful living.

അന്നേ ദിവസം കലൂർ ശ്രീരാമകൃഷ്ണ സേവാശ്രമത്തിൽ വച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ വത്സല ശിഷ്യരും ആത്മസുഹൃത്തുക്കളും കൂടി ഒത്തുചേരുന്ന വിവരം സന്തോഷപൂർവ്വം അറിയിക്കുന്നു.
എറണാകുളത്ത് വ്യാപാരം നടത്തിയിരുന്ന ഒന്നാംകിട വ്യാപാരിയായിരുന്ന പയ്യന്നൂർ സ്വദേശി ആയിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം,
ഇന്ന് നമ്മുടെ മുന്നിൽ ആദരണീയനും, സ്നേഹ സമ്പന്നനും, അദ്ധ്യാത്മിക മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ വ്യത്യസ്ഥ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ സ്ഫുരിക്കുന്ന പാണ്ഡ്യത്യ ഗരിമ ഏത് സാധാരണക്കാരനും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാവുന്ന തലത്തിൽ നമുക്കെല്ലാം പകർന്നു തന്നുകൊണ്ട് , നിഷ്ക്കളങ്കവും നിഷ്കാമവുമായ ജീവിതം നയിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ ശ്രീ നമ്പ്യാർജീയായി മാറി.
തൻ്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നേടിയിരുന്ന അർഹതപ്പെട്ട ലാഭം , ഗംഗാ മാതാവിൽ നിന്ന് എടുത്ത ജലം പ്രാർത്ഥനയോടെ, സമർപ്പണ ഭാവത്തോടെ ഗംഗയിൽ തന്നെ അർഘ്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന പോലെ സമൂഹത്തിന് സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന നമ്പ്യാർ ജിയുടെ സ്വഭാവം നമ്മിൽ കുറച്ചു പേർക്കറിയാം.
വ്യാപാരമെല്ലാം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ച് ഇരുപത് വർഷത്തിന് ശേഷവും ഈ പ്രക്രിയ കൂടതൽ വ്യാപകമായി ഇന്നും തുടരുന്നു.
ഏറെ യാത്ര ചെയ്തു എത്തുന്ന ഗുരുനാഥന് പ്രഭാഷണ വേളയിൽ ദക്ഷിണ സമർപ്പിച്ചാൽ അതിൽ സ്പർശിച്ച് സ്വീകരിച്ചു എന്ന് ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തി അതവിടെത്തന്നെ കൊടുത്തു മടങ്ങുകയാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പതിവ്.
കാർ ഓടിക്കാൻ ശരീരം അനുവദിച്ചിരുന്ന കാലം വരെ കിലോമീറ്ററുകളോളം നിരന്തരം സഞ്ചരിച്ച് ജിജ്ഞാസുക്കളായ പഠിതാക്കളെ സന്തുഷ്ടരാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കുന്ന ശ്രീ നമ്പ്യാർ ജീ യുടെ അനുകരണീയ ജീവിതം ഭഗവാൻ്റെ നേരിട്ടുളള ശ്രദ്ധയുടെ ഊർജ്ജമാണ്.

എറണാകുളം നഗരത്തിലെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വീടിൻ്റെ ഒരു ഭാഗം സന്യാസിമാരുടേയും ധർമ്മാചാര്യന്മാരുടേയും വിശ്രമകേന്ദ്രമായിരുന്നു.
പൂജനീയ ചിന്മയാനന്ദജീയുമായുള്ള സർവ്വം സമർപ്പണ ബന്ധം ആദരവോടെ, അഭിമാനത്തോടെ ഇന്നും നമ്പ്യാർജി കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
ചിന്മയാമിഷൻ്റെ ആദ്യകാല സെക്രട്ടറിയായും പ്രസിഡൻ്റായു മൊക്കെ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പിറവത്ത്
